Zombie RPG Sonny Now Available On The App Store for $2.99

Armor Games has reimagined Sonny for iOS devices.

Armor Games has launched a reimagining of the original cult-hit zombie RPG Sonny on select iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices via the App Store for $2.99. Rising from the dead with his mind intact but memories missing, the titular Sonny must battle paramilitary forces, ravenous techno-beasts, undead monstrosities and more to uncover the truth behind his resurrection and save the world.

Developed by series creator Krin Juangbhanich and published by Armor Games, the iOS edition of Sonny remixes and evolves upon its Flash-based predecessors, first released in 2007, with a new storyline, expanded gameplay features, enhanced visuals and more, making it ideal for both long-time fans and newcomers alike. Players will discover a unique adventure with familiar faces showing up in different ways, a new story arc and ending with divergent plot twists, and original enemies and locations. The game also features detailed 2D characters and environments, graphic novel-style artwork by Jet Kimchrea and an engrossing original score by David Orr.

Sonny is a combat-focused, turn-based RPG with an emphasis on planning and strategy. A new system in the iOS edition of Sonny allows players to evolve their hero mid-battle with unique powers to turn the tide of challenging fights. Beyond that, players can customize their parties with a streamlined skill tree, upgradeable gear, and intriguing team members with special abilities. Jackson County Fair in Scottsboro, Alabama (Event Review)

The Jackson County Fair has invaded Scottsboro, Alabama for the week of October 7-11, 2014, but the event may be a waste of money for some.  The fair was the 79th annual showing and was presented by Kissel Entertainment. The event featured rides, exhibits, games and great (yet too expensive) food for attendees at the show. Families could have enjoyed a great time at the fair grounds, but the event wasn't cheap and it didn't feature some of the more prominent attractions like one would find at larger, state fairs and carnivals. The turn out very low in Scottsboro though, and many would think that this would make it easier to enjoy the event but not even small lines could help make the Jackson County event fun. The Jackson County Fair had over a dozen rides for all age groups. The fair's massive Ferris Wheel towered high in the sky and helped light up the event, while the Moby Dick ride and Gravitron also looked fearsome and stood tall even from a distance. Plenty of ...
