Bad Dream: Coma Review (PC)

PlayWay has released Bad Dream: Coma for PC via Steam.

Bad Dream: Coma is a point & click adventure that features a very minimalist art style combined with a totally atmospheric experience. Players while travel through a very vivid dream world where they will yearn for death as they suffer terribly throughout each new experience.

The game contains no obvious choices and getting to the end will be a mind-altering experience like no other. You will ask yourself how things would have turned out if you had made different choices which adds a high degree of replayability to the non-linear gameplay in Bad Dream: Coma.

Bad Dream: Coma features a world of disturbing imagery and terrifying creatures that appeared in earlier chapters of the Bad Dream series. You can either embrace the new forms that the various creatures now possess or you can find ways to erase the images from your memory.

The new release features a haunting and immersive soundtrack that is completely original with tons of hidden content for curious gamers. The world has been drawn in a way it looks like an interactive storybook with creepy undertones unlike any other point & click adventure I have ever played.

Bad Dream: Coma is full of intricate puzzles to solve with the right answer not always being evident at first leading to some costly mistakes. No one can die in this shared dream world which has led to some disturbing art visuals and a very horrifying soundtrack. There are multiple endings you can get based on the actions you perform during the game with an intrinsic amount of detail in every environment you encounter.

In the end, Bad Dream: Coma is a good game that offers up intense gameplay combined with a fantastic soundtrack and storyline. If you think you know everything there is to know about point & click adventures than Bad Dream: Coma will alter that perspective in a horrifyingly creepy but fantastic way.

Score: 8.5 out of 10
