Darknet Review (PlayStation VR)

Archiact has released Darknet for PlayStation VR for the low price of $14.99.

Darknet allows players to step into the shoes of an elite hacker trying to hack his way through one of the most secure networks in the world. The game contains some extensive strategy and puzzle elements that keep the game engaging and fresh throughout the entire experience. Are you ready to dive head first into the black crevices of the Net and try to make your way through intense cyber security barriers in this cyberpunk world not too far into the future?

Darknet received many accolades when it released on other Virtual Reality consoles and it still impresses with its release on PlayStation VR. The PS VR headset acts as your eyes into the digital world hidden from the casual observer. Gamers must use all of their elite hacking skills to make their voyage through the dark web where they install viruses and use other abilities to proceed.

The thing you have the least amount of in Darknet is time. You are constantly on the clock to create digital mayhem before your signal is traced. As you progress through the game, your hacking skills will become more elite and your ability to out maneuver the digital world will ultimately lead to your success.

Darknet also has a slew of new trophies available on PlayStation 4 for players to earn adding a high degree of replayability to the game.

In the end, Darknet is a great game for VR and manages to fully immerse you into the cyberpunk world full of digital chaos. The voice acting is phenomenal and the tutorials were spot on allowing you to progress through the game with minimal frustration. However, the graphics aren't extraordinary and the game isn't everyone's cup of tea, but if you are looking for a new experience like no other than Darknet may be for you.
