Dovetail Games Euro Fishing Coming To PS4 On April 11

Dovetail Games releasing Dovetail Games Euro Fishing for PS4.

Dovetail Games, the multi award-winning developer and publisher, has announced that, following its successful release on Xbox One, Dovetail Games Euro Fishing will launch on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system on April 11, 2017. It will be available for $18.99 standard, with an additional 20% discount if purchased within the first 14 days of launch. Whether you are a fishing beginner or angling pro, Euro Fishing authentically and accurately replicates the feeling of real fishing from the comfort of your sofa. Welcome to the great indoors!

Game modes include “Freedom Fishing,” where you can practice on any of the five venues included in the game, fish at your own pace to try and catch the one of the many boss fish such as the “Big Plated” or the “Box Common” hiding below the surface, or you can compete against friends and other like-minded anglers in our fast-paced “Tournament Fishing” mode, where catches are tracked and recorded in time-limited matches to move up the global leaderboard to become the best angler in the world!

To add that extra level of realism to the game, Simon Scott, the UK’s leading fish behavior expert, has provided advice and guidance to help ensure the fish AI for the game is as realistic as possible, and with fully licensed content from world-leading manufacturers including Korda, Delkim, Mainline, Sonik Sports, RAD Angling, and Wofte Clothing, the game has that true authentic edge.

“We’re delighted to be able to bring Euro Fishing to the PlayStation®4,” said Mark Greenway, Fishing Business Director at Dovetail Games. "We set out to create a fun, authentic and challenging fishing simulation, and we feel certain we’ve achieved that with all the different elements of this popular hobby coming together to make this title a truly realistic experience."

Looking to the future, we will continue to develop additional fishing experiences, add new and exciting content to the game, and keep all our customers informed of the latest news and special offers at www.dtgfishing.com.

The Jackson County Fair has invaded Scottsboro, Alabama for the week of October 7-11, 2014, but the event may be a waste of money for some.  The fair was the 79th annual showing and was presented by Kissel Entertainment. The event featured rides, exhibits, games and great (yet too expensive) food for attendees at the show. Families could have enjoyed a great time at the fair grounds, but the event wasn't cheap and it didn't feature some of the more prominent attractions like one would find at larger, state fairs and carnivals. The turn out very low in Scottsboro though, and many would think that this would make it easier to enjoy the event but not even small lines could help make the Jackson County event fun. The Jackson County Fair had over a dozen rides for all age groups. The fair's massive Ferris Wheel towered high in the sky and helped light up the event, while the Moby Dick ride and Gravitron also looked fearsome and stood tall even from a distance. Plenty of ...
