Broken Age Getting Limited Physical Copy Release On PS4 and PS Vita


Limited Run Games has announced the release of physical copies of Broken Age.


Limited Run Games will release a select amount of physical copies of Double Fine Productions’ graphic adventure video game Broken Age on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita for $29.99 beginning Friday, June 9th. To commemorate the release, Limited Run Games will also sell merchandise at discounted rates, including The Art of Broken Age, Special Edition, for $34.99 and a Hexipal Plushie for $14.99.


Originally released in 2014, following a record-breaking crowdfunding campaign, Broken Age is a timeless coming-of-age story of barfing trees and talking spoons. Vella Tartine and Shay Volta are two teenagers in strangely similar situations, but radically different worlds. Players can freely switch between the characters and their individual stories, helping them take control of their own lives, and dealing with the unexpected adventures that follow. The game also features an original orchestral soundtrack plus an all-star vocal cast, including Elijah Wood, Jennifer Hale, and Jack Black.

Jackson County Fair in Scottsboro, Alabama (Event Review)

The Jackson County Fair has invaded Scottsboro, Alabama for the week of October 7-11, 2014, but the event may be a waste of money for some.  The fair was the 79th annual showing and was presented by Kissel Entertainment. The event featured rides, exhibits, games and great (yet too expensive) food for attendees at the show. Families could have enjoyed a great time at the fair grounds, but the event wasn't cheap and it didn't feature some of the more prominent attractions like one would find at larger, state fairs and carnivals. The turn out very low in Scottsboro though, and many would think that this would make it easier to enjoy the event but not even small lines could help make the Jackson County event fun. The Jackson County Fair had over a dozen rides for all age groups.
