KO_OP and Double Fine have announced that GNOG will release on May 2nd.
Get your GNOG(in) ready, because KO_OP and Double Fine Presents’ puzzle adventure game, GNOG will release for PS4 with VR support on May 2. To get a taste of the interactive world that will come to life, the team has released some new level teasers that showcase the unique art and music from the game. Pre-orders are available now on the PlayStation Store for just $14.99 (10% discount for PS+ members) + a bonus free dynamic theme.
- PURP-L Level: PURP-L is a GNOG that doubles as a synth. It’ll be the player’s mission to remix the music to create the sickest track.
- S-UB 01 Level: SUB-01 is a water resistant GNOG that can navigate the deep ocean. It’ll allow players to spin valves and activate the sonar to discover hidden treasures and new species as they explore the deep.
- VORT-X Level: VORT-X is the space-faring GNOG that has suffered a critical malfunction. Players will have to rebuild it and find a way back home.
The game is made up of a dynamic soundtrack carefully crafted by musician Marskye. Some levels are more upbeat while others are more low-key, and each GNOG is an opportunity to try something new – visually, mechanically, and musically.
