Awesomenauts 4.1: Dawn of the Renegades Now Available For PC

Awesomenauts 4.1: Dawn of the Renegades
makes its way to PC via Steam.

Awesomenauts 4.1: Dawn of the Renegades, is now available on Steam! This content update includes gameplay improvements, balance tweaks, new rewards, and a brand new character: Dizzy! This new Awesomenaut is incredibly agile and can execute multiple dashes over a short period of time. She’s also the first character in a series that will join the cast over the next few months.

Together with Smiles, Qi’Tara, and Commander Rocket, Dizzy makes up Rocket’s Renegades: a team of mercenaries on the run from authorities. They’re joining the Awesomenauts to clear their names and take revenge on those who wronged them. Catch the trailer below to meet the four characters that will be released over the summer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5p5DFP40Fw

Just as all the other characters in Awesomenauts, Dizzy will be unlockable with Awesomepoints that players earn by playing matches. Alternatively, players can buy her separately or will have her unlocked automatically through the All-Nauts-Pack. Befitting of her mix of attitude, talent, and bubbly backup vocalists, she also has a kickin’ character theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdbCNr_mL3c

In addition to the new character, we’re also adding a new series of in-game medals for players who manage to attain over 250 wins with a character! These are meant to show off the accomplishments of some our most dedicated players, who have been part of our community for years.

Furthermore, Awesomenauts 4.1: Dawn of the Renegades includes two new in-game skins: Kunoichi Dizzy and Bullbarian Deadlift. The Kunoichi Dizzy skin is a mysterious skin for our latest heroine that shows off her prowess as a Aqua-Fu Master while the Bullbarian Deadlift skin turns the muscular Bovinian into a barbarian from a bygone age. Depending on whether he’s fighting on the red or the blue team, Bullbarian Deadlift comes equipped with a greatsword or a two-handed battle axe.

Awesomenauts 4.1: Dawn of the Renegades is just the first update that we’ve got lined up for the summer, and players can look forward to more characters, more unlockables, and more improvements over the coming months! In fact, the next character to join the Awesomenauts will be made available in Open Beta next week already!
