Unleashed Review (Movie)

Unleashed is now available in theaters and on demand. Read on to see what we thought.

Unleashed has a beautiful romantic storyline that features a cosmic event which turns the main character Emma’s dog and cat into two perfect guys. This event causes Emma to reconsider how she views dating and also helps her come to terms with her trust issues. The end result is that Emma slowly learns to love herself. And you can't really find true love unless you are first willing to love yourself.

The story begins when app designer Emma (Kate Micucci) moves to San Francisco after being betrayed by her boyfriend (Josh Brener). She makes her way to the new city to start over with only her pets Ajax (Justin Chatwin) and Summit (Steve Howey) to keep her company. The fun starts when Emma's beloved pets escape one night drawn by the beautiful glisten of the Supermoon and are magically transformed into full-grown men. Emma's colleague (Hana Mae Lee) helps her come to the understanding that she has to change her life before fate takes another turn.

Unleashed is a romantic comedy with phenomenal acting and humor. When the two hunky men can't control their animal instincts, then the audience really sees the true charm of this wacky chick-flick. The film manages to capture the true essence of love and lust with an infectious twist.
