Call of Duty: WWII Private Beta Impressions
Activison and Sledgehammer Games allowed gamers to get a taste of Call of Duty this weekend.
The Call of Duty: WWII Private Multiplayer Beta allows gamers to try their hand at just a very small sampling of the Call of Duty: WWII Multiplayer before its release on November 3.
The game allowed some hands on with two of Sledgehammer's biggest announcements from E3, Divisions and War Mode, during the Private Multiplayer Beta. Divisions will be replacing the Pick 10 Create-a-Class system. During the Private Multiplayer Beta gamers received an introduction to a small segment of the soldier progression mechanic and the underlying concept of Divisions.
What Gamers Experienced In The Private Multiplayer Beta:
- Maps – At least three Multiplayer maps, including: Pointe Du Hoc, Ardennes, and Gibraltar.
- War Mode – Operation Breakout
- Modes – Fan-favorite modes, including Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint.
- Divisions – Enlist in the Infantry, Expeditionary, Airborne, Armored, or Mountain Division. You are not limited to any one Division.

On September 2nd, Call of Duty: WWII Private Multiplayer Beta increased the level cap to 35 allowing gamers to have access to new weapons, basic training, and equipment available, such as the M1928 and the Flamethrower Scorestreak. KILL CONFIRMED! was also added giving a lot of new fun to the multiplayer experience. Gamers also saw the TDM match limit increased to 100. Kills on Domination became a 100 points. Molotovs were reduced to one per score streak, and the difficulty of the paratroopers were raised. Sledgehammer has announced they will be monitoring the game data and community feedback on these items in order to inform their decision for the final game. The team also adjusted the ADS out of sprint and those rolled over into the MP Beta on Saturday.

The team also announced that in response to feedback, they plan to add the following controller layouts for ship:
- Bumper Jumper
- Bumper Jumper Tactical
- Stick and Move
