Serenity Forge will soon be releasing A Case of Distrust for PC.

A Case of Distrust  takes players on a narrative mystery through San Francisco during 1924. Gamers step into the role of Phyllis Cadence Malone who is a private investigator making her way through the 2D adventure game.

There is a ton to explore in A Case of Distrust  which includes speakeasies, billiard halls, barber shops, and much more. The point of the game is to solve the various puzzles by trying to catch suspects lying through various methods like hard evidence and statements. However, sometimes you will have to use your own creativity and wittiness to catch the suspects at hand.

Investigator Malone faces a ton of challenges along the way, such as a pushback on emancipation. As doubts and suspicious arise, your heroine will find herself tied up in an intriguing mystery full of deception. The story manages to cleverly combine gameplay elements from games such as Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective and Phoenix Wright.

In the end, A Case of Distrust  is a fun mystery game full of intriguing twists and turns. The controls are quite responsive and the storyline manages to keep you entertained throughout your adventure. If you like a good old fashion mystery, then you will want to try out A Case of Distrust.
