Dorian Gray Prose Novel Now Available In Print and EBook

John Garavaglia reveals his 360 page novel, Dorian Gray.

Written by John Garavaglia the 360-page novel is available this week thru all book channels.

The Grays are a cursed family. Dorian Gray IV, the last of his line, struggles with the realization that his personal demons are exactly that…a supernatural force that plagues not only the Grays but many of society's wealthiest families. Convinced that his redemption will only be secured through ridding the city of demons called the Morbi, Dorian launches an ongoing crusade for his soul.

"I’ve have had these projects in my mind for years and finally being able to get them out is a dream come true. I have had a lot of success with reestablishing classic characters such as the muses in 10th Muse as well as Legend of Isis,” said creator Darren G. Davis.

"We are thrilled to be developing Dorian Gray as a television series with Darren and TidalWave. The themes and character both from the classic Oscar Wilde novel and Darren's fresh and fun update resonate as strongly as ever in this age of narcissistic reflection; focus." - Susan Ferris, CEO of Bohemia Group Originals.

“The Picture of Dorian Gray has always been one of my favorite books. And it’s very exciting for me as a writer that I can take a well-known character and revamp him to a new generation of readers. I’ve always thought the original story was one of the very first teen dramas in the history of literature. Plus, it had the psychological thriller aspect that questions Dorian’s sanity, and how he becomes a slave to his own vanity.” John Garavaglia.

This is the first of eight novels in a new publishing venture with Markosia. Other titles will include, Sinbad Rogue of Mars, Wrath of the Titans and Insane Jane. “I am delighted to be working with Darren and his talented team at Tidalwave Productions with the Dorian Gray novel. I look forward to an exciting partnership with Tidalwave Productions and hopefully many more books!” said Markosia publisher Harry Markos.

Dorian Gray prose novel is available in print and EBook: ISBN: 978-1911243632 The Dorian Gray 96-page graphic novel written by Darren G. Davis and Scott Davis is now available thru TidalWave Productions in print and digital. ISBN: 978-1-948216-57-9

Jackson County Fair in Scottsboro, Alabama (Event Review)

The Jackson County Fair has invaded Scottsboro, Alabama for the week of October 7-11, 2014, but the event may be a waste of money for some.  The fair was the 79th annual showing and was presented by Kissel Entertainment. The event featured rides, exhibits, games and great (yet too expensive) food for attendees at the show. Families could have enjoyed a great time at the fair grounds, but the event wasn't cheap and it didn't feature some of the more prominent attractions like one would find at larger, state fairs and carnivals. The turn out very low in Scottsboro though, and many would think that this would make it easier to enjoy the event but not even small lines could help make the Jackson County event fun. The Jackson County Fair had over a dozen rides for all age groups. The fair's massive Ferris Wheel towered high in the sky and helped light up the event, while the Moby Dick ride and Gravitron also looked fearsome and stood tall even from a distance. Plenty of ...
