The Mega Man X Legacy Collection has made its way to consoles and PC.
Capcom has released the Mega Man X Legacy Collection (includes X1-4) and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 (includes X5-8). These two collections allow gamers to jump straight into all of the classic beloved side-scrolling adventures of Mega Man X.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 have players taking control of Mega Man and his friends Zero and Axl in order to take down the Mavericks. The newly released collections manage to add a ton of replayability to the original games with brand new bonus content like X Challenge mode. This new mode pits gamers against two bosses in an epic series of two-on-one battles. There is also some fun nostalgic content that includes original production art featured in the Museum filled with original production art alongside a fun animated prequel film starring Sigma and the origins of this Mega Man X villain.
The Mega Man X Legacy Collections not only contains new additions to eight classics, but also new features, such as optional smoothing and CRT filters. The new releases have the ability to be played in the game's original resolutions but also in widescreen modes. The visuals have been greatly enhanced on top of beautifully mastered new tracks.
