Grim Fandango Remastered Now Available for Nintendo Switch


Double Fine Productions has released Grim Fandango Remasterd for Nintendo Switch.


To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Double Fine Productions today launched Grim Fandango Remastered for Nintendo Switch. Fans can purchase the game right now at the Nintendo eShop for $14.99. Additionally today, Double Fine Productions announced a 20th Anniversary Grim Fandango Remastered physical edition for PS4, along with Peter McConnell's Remastered Soundtrack on Vinyl. Both items can be pre-ordered here and are in collaboration with premium collectibles company, iam8bit. An upcoming Grim Fandango art show, also in partnership with iam8bit, will debut on November 11 at Day of the Devs at The Midway in San Francisco and continue to run from November 14 through December 31 at PWNshop in Los Angeles. All ages are welcome and admission will be free.

“It’s been 20 years since I created Grim Fandango at LucasArts and boy, it was a journey to say the least. But knowing how much enjoyment it brought players, it was all worth it,” said Double Fine Founder, Tim Schafer. “The best part of releasing on Switch is that returning players can now take it on the go and we have a chance to show it to a whole new generation.” Grim Fandango is one of the most acclaimed adventure games of all time, with unforgettable characters and a unique combination of film noir and Mexican folklore. Players jump in as Manny Calavera, travel agent at the Department of Death to help untangle him from a conspiracy that threatens his very salvation. The story has been remastered to look, sound, and play even better than ever.
