Grimmwood Review (PC)

Headup Games has released their RPG game, Grimmwoood, for PC.

The co-op MMO Grimmwood combines some of the best parts of your favorite survival games with strategy elements into one fun game. The game takes place inside a beautiful forest where you join 39 other players. Every night a horde of monsters attacks the quaint village and you most fortify your defenses with the other players to survive. After you survive the night, you must explore the forest in the day to get more items to construct and repair the town. All of the action completed in the game costs stamina points with a very limited amount available to you.

Grimmwood is a fun survival game with some great exploration elements. The game can get a little repetitive but playing with friends online can add a high degree of replayability. The forest in the game is huge and allows you hours of fun while you explore and play with others online.

The game has a special Blitz mode for gamers who get tired of the 24 hour game sequences. The village you find is hundreds of years old and players can see subtle signs that something may have happened to the town's previous inhabitants. There is a lot to discover in the game including unique monsters and mystical artifacts.

In the end, Grimmwood is an entertaining game despite its flaws and repetition. To learn more, visit the official Grimmwood website.
