Shop Titans Adds Lost City of Gold

Kabam has announced the Lost City of Gold is now open in Shop Titans. Read on.

Player merchants in Kabam’s mobile simulation role-playing game (RPG) Shop Titans can now look beyond the shop in the never-ending quest of riches and renown as the Lost City of Gold is now open! Starting today, in this special time-limited event, players must team up with their friends to unearth new bounties of rare and high-value treasures before the dungeon disappears as magically as it showed up.

"After seeing Shop Titans’ performance and success, we're even more thrilled to unveil the Lost City of Gold, which players can now explore for amazing prizes," said Tim Fields, CEO of Kabam. “We’re excited to bring even deeper social design features to Shop Titans.”

Starting today and recurring as a monthly event, players can send their best Heroes and Champions to defeat monsters and bosses in special timed dungeons, and earn special rewards for the group. These include components that add toward the guild's overall milestone earnings. Top guilds that best explore the Lost City of Gold will receive a special Tier 8 blueprint that can only be crafted with components found in the city.

Kabam is also adding long-awaited enhancements to the current Guild system, including:

  • Bounty Board - The Bounty Board gives Guilds daily tasks to work on, which offers rewards for guildmates. Tasks include crafting items, completing quests, and opening chests, which earn players Renown.
  • Guild Upgrades - By earning Renown with guild contributions, players can grow Guilds with permanent Upgrades, and temporary Boosts that lets players advance further.
  • Guild Coins - Guild Coins can also be earned by working on the Bounty Board. Coins can buy Grab Bags, which give rare consumables or bonus resources for player shops.

“With this massive Guild update, the team took the opportunity to add a one-click share functionality for players eager to send their profiles with friends for easy guild invites,” said Johan Eile, GM at Kabam.

“Beyond being excited for the Lost City of Gold, players made it clear they want more ways to connect their Shop Titans adventure with friends and guildmates, Today’s update shows our commitment to listening to player feedback, and we are constantly listening for further ways on enhancing the Shop Titans experience for all players.”

In Shop Titans, players become the new craftsman in town as they help Heroes and Champions prepare for epic battles against fearsome monsters - all while maintaining a beautifully decorated shop with epic gear. After building their store by crafting, buying, selling and trading items for the highest bidder, players can send parties on epic quests and legendary battles, and team up with a number of in-game merchants and allies to make their business prosper – all to achieve wealth and success in order to become the ultimate Shop Titan! Shop Titans is now available to download free (with in-app purchases) for the App Store and Google Play. Players can also look forward to special Thanksgiving-themed packages available for purchase from Nov. 19 (VIP) / Nov. 22-28.

On the surface it’s a cozy workplace sim; polite locals, daily pay, and mandatory room and board that removes the hassle of commuting, but the office’s cheery routine is threaded with odd rules and quiet contradictions that quickly make the ordinary feel off‑kilter. What begins as a satisfying loop of weighing parcels and matching stamps soon becomes a game of attention: letters hide hints, patrons’ small talk slips into unsettling confessions, and management’s insistence that you never leave the premises reads less like policy and more like a warning. The demo covers your first four days on the job, teaching the systems while nudging you toward choices, obey protocol and keep the peace, or pry at the seams and uncover the post office’s darker purpose. Either way, those first shifts are a careful, uncanny invitat...
