Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest Launches On PC

Tilting Point announces launch of Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest for PC. Read on.

Tilting Point, in partnership with Games Workshop and Hunted Cow, has launched a PC version of its epic massively-multiplayer real-time strategy game, Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest. Set in the classic world of Warhammer Fantasy Battles, the game lets players construct an imposing stronghold, lead a powerful horde and dominate foes as they spread Chaos across the Old World. Featuring cross-platform play between PC and mobile devices, Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest allows Android and iOS players to sync their progress between the two platforms by downloading the game for free on Steam and the Microsoft Store.

Starting today, PC players can become a Chaos Lord and conquer the Empire of Man by raising terrifying warbands that they can bolster with mighty Daemons and Warriors of Chaos. Players can coordinate the conquest of landmarks important to the Empire and share the spoils of war. Chaos Lords always look out for themselves, and players can choose to lay siege to each other in an effort to undermine others’ plans of conquest. Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest allows up to 50 players to defend and support each other, whether on a PC or mobile devices, in PvE battles and PvP combat.

Since Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest released on mobile in May 2019, Hunted Cow has updated the game monthly with new content – including limited time events, new Chaos Warlords to collect, and a loyalty system. They will continue to release monthly updates to the game with new Warlords, events, and other content for longtime players.

“Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest is a result of our first co-development deal with Hunted Cow, and collectively, we are thrilled to introduce the game to new audiences on PC,” said Samir El-Agili, president of Tilting Point. “We are proud of how the game performed on mobile devices, and hope to replicate the success on PC by offering players seamless gameplay between both platforms.”

Similar to the mobile game, the PC version features fan-favorite Warhammer Fantasy locations for players to pillage, including the Chaos Wastes, Norsca, Troll Country and the Empire of Man. Players pledge themselves to the Chaos Gods (Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeentch, and Slaanesh) by building temples and crushing foes with classic Warhammer units: Marauders, Forsaken and Chaos Warriors.

“As longtime fans of Warhammer, we knew it was important to create a true Warhammer experience, one that is optimized for both mobile and PC,” said John Stewart, COO of Hunted Cow. “It is a great feeling to create a personal army of Chaos on your computer, and then continue your conquest on your phone.”

Buffet Bliss or Southern Swing-and-a-Miss? A Bite at Kacey’s in Huntsville

Walk through the doors of Kacey’s Country Cooking in Huntsville and you’re greeted by the comforting smell of fried chicken, collard greens, and cornbread that could double as perfume for any true Southerner. This is where the buffet line reigns supreme, the sweet tea flows endlessly, and dessert is always just an arm’s reach away. For many locals, Kacey’s is a comfort food paradise. Fans brag about the fried green tomatoes, juicy pork chops, slow-cooked beef tips, and banana pudding that deserves its own holiday. The staff are another highlight—quick with refills, friendly enough to feel like family, and the kind of people who can make a buffet feel like Sunday dinner at grandma’s. But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...
