Experience Twice the Terror and Action in Resident Evil™ Requiem

Dual Protagonists Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy Return to the Shadows of Raccoon City

Capcom is ready to pull players back into the heart of survival horror with Resident Evil™ Requiem, launching February 27, 2026, for PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Revealed during The Game Awards 2025, the latest mainline entry promises a chilling blend of high-octane action and nerve-shredding horror, anchored by two intertwined protagonists: fan-favorite Leon S. Kennedy and newcomer FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft.

Set against the lingering scars of the infamous 1998 Raccoon City Incident, Resident Evil Requiem follows a series of mysterious deaths that draw both characters to the same abandoned hotel—each investigating from their own perspective, unaware that their fates are about to collide.

Two Heroes, Two Horrors

In a bold narrative and gameplay shift, Resident Evil Requiem splits its experience between two distinct playstyles. Leon S. Kennedy brings the adrenaline, delivering the series’ signature cinematic action with intense combat encounters, daring escapes, and the confidence of a seasoned survivor. Grace Ashcroft, by contrast, embodies classic survival horror—limited resources, mounting dread, and the psychological tension that has defined Resident Evil at its scariest.

Together, their dual campaigns promise a tonal balance that honors the franchise’s roots while pushing it forward, offering players both explosive thrills and slow-burn terror in equal measure.

A Legendary Ride and Deluxe Upgrades

Among the surprises unveiled alongside the announcement is a high-profile collaboration between Resident Evil and Porsche. Leon’s investigation will feature a bespoke Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, seamlessly integrated into the game as his trusted vehicle—an unexpected but striking partnership between two iconic brands.

Capcom also expanded the Resident Evil Requiem Deluxe Edition, now including three Leon costumes inspired by Resident Evil 4, “Apocalypse,” and “Film Noir,” along with a DSO emblem weapon charm. Players who pre-order the game will receive Grace’s gritty “Apocalypse” costume as a bonus.

More Ways to Experience the Fear

The announcements don’t stop with Resident Evil Requiem alone. On launch day, Resident Evil™ 7 biohazard Gold Edition and Resident Evil™ Village Gold Edition will also arrive on Nintendo Switch™ 2, complete with post-story scenarios and additional modes. Nintendo players can bundle both titles with Resident Evil Requiem in the exclusive Resident Evil Generation Pack.

Looking ahead, Capcom has teased an early-2026 Resident Evil Showcase for a deeper dive into the game, a Fortnite crossover featuring Resident Evil-themed cosmetics for Epic Games Store purchasers, a special Switch 2 Pro Controller, and even the franchise’s first-ever amiibo—Grace Ashcroft—scheduled for Summer 2026.

Collectors can also look forward to the Premium Steelbook Edition, which includes the full game, Deluxe Edition content, and a limited-edition lenticular card.

An Intimate Evening with Damon Johnson at Back Forty Ballroom: A Perfect Night of Music and History in Fort Payne

There’s something special about seeing a great musician in a room that feels personal—where the stories are just as powerful as the songs. That’s exactly what the audience experienced on March 7, 2026 at 7:30 PM during “An Evening with Brother Cane’s Damon Johnson” at Back Forty Ballroom in downtown Fort Payne, Alabama. The venue itself sets the tone before the first note is even played. Back Forty Ballroom is tucked inside the beautifully restored W.B. Davis Hosiery Mill, a building that has stood in Fort Payne since 1889. Instead of stripping away the building’s history, the restoration celebrates it. Original brick walls, aged wooden beams, and warm ambient lighting create an atmosphere that feels both historic and welcoming. Walking into the ballroom feels like stepping into a piece of Alabama’s past—yet everything about the space is perfectly suited for modern events. The open layout, soft glow of string lights, and rustic textures make it ideal for weddings, concerts, and gathe...
