Southern Ghost Girls Bring Holiday Spirits to Cullman with Ghosts of Christmas Past Walks & Lantern Tours

Cullman, Alabama is about to get a little merrier—and a little spookier—this December as the Southern Ghost Girls Tours and Paranormal Investigations launch the first-ever Cullman Ghosts of Christmas Past Ghost Walks and Lantern Tours. For seven magical and mysterious nights throughout the month, guests are invited to step back in time, explore haunted history, and celebrate the season with a blend of Christmas cheer and paranormal intrigue.

🎄 Seven Nights of Holiday Hauntings

Participants can choose from December 4, 6, 9, 11, 16, 18, or 20 at 6:00 PM. Each evening offers a guided lantern-lit journey through Cullman’s storied past, mixing ghost tales, historical lore, and hands-on paranormal experiences with professional investigators.

🎅 A Festive Twist on Ghost Hunting

Hosted by the renowned Southern Ghost Girls, known for their investigations, tours, and TV appearances, this event is more than your typical ghost walk. Guests will meet at the famously haunted Bennett Home Supply on Highway 31—a location steeped in unexplained activity and local legend. From there, attendees follow their guide through Cullman’s historic streets, exploring locations tied to Victorian-era mysteries and the city’s rich German heritage.

Lanterns illuminate the way as stories of past Christmas spirits, eerie happenings, and local folklore unfold. With opportunities to witness paranormal phenomena firsthand, each tour promises a night of enchantment, goosebumps, and unforgettable memories.

✨ Holiday Spirit with a Purpose

In true Christmas spirit, the Southern Ghost Girls are using these events to give back to the Cullman community. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Toys of Joy of Cullman County, a heartfelt program sponsored by the Cullman Elk’s Lodge #1609. Toys of Joy ensures that underprivileged children in the community wake up to Christmas morning magic—so every ticket helps make a difference.

This is where the buffet line reigns supreme, the sweet tea flows endlessly, and dessert is always just an arm’s reach away. For many locals, Kacey’s is a comfort food paradise. Fans brag about the fried green tomatoes, juicy pork chops, slow-cooked beef tips, and banana pudding that deserves its own holiday. But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...
