Metro: Last Light Receives Tremendous Sales Figures for New Release
Developer 4A Games and publisher Deep Silver are now reaping the benefits of the hard work they put in on their new release, Metro: Last Light. Among the records set during the month of May include Metro: Last Light selling more than triple the copies Metro 2033 sold during its opening week for PC, Metro: Last Light selling more new copies during its first week than Metro 2033 in its entire life span in the U.S., selling more copies of Metro: Last Light worldwide in the first week than Metro 2033 did in a three month span and a number one sales spot for Metro: Last Light in European territories including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France. The game was also the best-selling title for the UK for four straight weeks.
