Event Report: Ms. BioGamer Girl 2014 Beauty Pageant Wrap-Up At Con Nooga

The 2014 Ms. BioGamer Girl Beauty Pageant is now in the books with our winner Hannah Kincannon taking home the grand prize. It was a great event this year with the largest crowd we've had yet showing up to cheer on out contestants. The event had great prizes thanks to some wonderful sponsors, some really fun entertainment from hosts Alexis Montclaire and Justin Webb (the winner and runner-up for 2013's contest) and plenty of lovely ladies that wasn't afraid to show off their knowledge and fandom during the contest. We're already looking forward to next year's event where there are sure to be plenty of new surprises for contestants and attendees, so here is a quick recap of what fans missed out on from Con Nooga 2014! Make sure to check out some great photos from the event on the official BioGamer Girl Facebook page or the official gallery of Ms. BioGamer Girl photos on the Con Nooga page.

Ms. BioGamer Girl 2014 went down on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Chattanooga Choo Choo and Chattanooga Convention Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee during Con Nooga 2014. The convention made the perfect location for Ms. BioGamer Girl 2014, and it's an annual event that fans can expect to see every year for the near future. The convention is not only home to the Ms. BioGamer Girl Beauty Pageant though, as fans who attended this year's event had a chance to meet a fantastic lineup of celebrities and guests including but not limited to Chandler Riggs from The Walking Dead, Ed Crandell author of West World and great music from the band Radio Cult, and the convention also included plenty of room parties, panels and other special events to keep visitors entertained through the entire weekend.

There was plenty of great cosplay at the convention and also in the Ms. BioGamer Girl Beauty Pageant in 2014. Some of the costumes included Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Frank West from Dead Rising, Harley Quinn from the Batman franchise while HeMan and Skeletor made a special appearance at the BioGamer Girl booth. The contestants answered a series of geek themed questions in order to advance through the rounds. Attendees also got to witness a full blown magic show during the event by our own Justin Webb for even more fun. In the end, it was Hannah Kincannon, dressed in an Assassin’s Creed costume, who took home the crown and sash as well as plenty of new video games, action figures and more as the grand prize.

Ms. BioGamer Girl 2014 Beauty Pageant was only such a successful event thanks to our great contestants and hosts, so we'd like to thank all who entered and encourage everyone to return to the show again in 2015. We'd also like to thank our sponsors Ubisoft for copies of Rocksmith 2014 Edition, Activision for providing copies of Skylanders SWAP Force, Energems, Insight Editions, Frozen: Olaf's Quest, Wipeout: Create & Crash, Doodle Jump Journey, Angry Birds Star Wars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with figures and Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2013 from their respective partners, MOGA, Tech Deck Finger Boards, Froomies for their Spongebob Squarepants decoration and Insert Coin for providing clothing seen worn by the BioGamer Girl staff at the event. Finally, we'd like to thank the team behind Con Nooga who played gracious hosts and allowed us a nice setup for the event with a full stage, audio equipment and more. The event was really fun, and it wouldn't have been possible without the help from all of the great sponsors, contestants and fans who cheered us on. We hope to see you next year at Ms. BioGamer Girl 2015!
